Youth Safety Training

 

Training will be held on December 2nd, 2023.

Registration and class start at 9 a.m.

Youth ages 11-15 need to complete the online course prior to the one-day classroom review and riding performance course.  The one day review will be held at:

River Valley Dutchmen Snowmobile Club building

24927 Main St.

Essig, MN 56030

 

 

General Information

  • Youth need to complete the online course before class.  The fee is $29.95 per student.

  • Print your online completion document.

  • Must be 11 years of age before class start date.

  • Students must attend the one-day classroom review and riding performance course lead by trained instructors.

  • Students will need $5 and a parent or guardian's signature.

Students will need to bring with them:

  • Registration form with parent guardian signature

  • Certificate of Completion - also include: your FULL LEGAL NAME, date of birth and current address

  • Appropriate outside attire and snowmobile helmet, goggles if necessary, gloves and boots for the class. 

  • Students DO NOT need to bring their own snowmobile

 

Minnesota requires snowmobile certification by the law for anyone born after Dec. 31, 1976.
